Your finances are personal. This page explains the security and privacy practices we use to keep your NestLedgerPlus information safe — and the shared responsibilities that help keep it that way.
This page is maintained by the NestLedgerPlus team to answer common security and privacy questions about NestLedgerPlus. It describes our current practices and is not a certification or independent audit.
Controls in place
Authentication
Access requires a verified account. You can sign in with email and password or with Google. Each request is tied to your authenticated session.
Data isolation
Your budgets, expenses, savings goals, bills, and credit cards are protected by row-level security rules so that you can only ever read or change your own records.
Least-privilege access
Sensitive fields such as your subscription plan can only be changed by our secured server logic after the appropriate checks — not directly from the browser.
Encryption in transit
All traffic between your device and our backend is served over HTTPS/TLS so your information is encrypted while it travels across the network.
Managed cloud backend
NestLedgerPlus runs on a managed cloud platform that handles database hosting, authentication, and infrastructure maintenance on our behalf.
Your data, your control
You can add, edit, and delete your financial records at any time from your dashboard. Contact us if you would like your account and data removed.
Shared responsibility
Security works best as a partnership. We are responsible for building and operating NestLedgerPlus securely — protecting your data, applying access controls, and maintaining our backend. You help by keeping your password private, using a strong and unique password, and signing out on shared devices.
We only collect the information needed to run your budgeting features, and we never sell your personal financial data.
